The Fantastic Mr. Fox
Go see The Fantastic Mr. Fox. It is playing in most movie theaters. If someone tells you they are creeped out by the dolls, like many people have told me, tell them to take their head out of their _ _ _. This is one of the best films I have seen in a while. The NyTimes quotes, "Once you adjust to its stop-and-start rhythms and its scruffy looks, you can appreciate its wit, its beauty and the sly gravity of its emotional undercurrents."

Digital to 35mm
I'm enjoying the design process with photos. Taking the digital into the 35mm realm. I have always had a fascination with 35mm ever since I saw the film "One California Day". There is a nostalgic quality to 35mm no matter what time of the day, or year it was shot in, it will always give you that fuzzy warm feeling. Much like anything in black and white, it has a quality that digital color just doesn't posses. The French would say it has a certain je ne sais quoi.

Cat Walk 09'
The CatWalk was on the mall today. I had the privilege of talking with Lute Olson, former UA basketball coach, and Dr. Alberts, the leading doctor in the country for cancer research. I also met a woman who had a group of other supporters with her to walk for her mom, who had previously died of cancer. They were all wearing shirts that said "Team Cheryl". It was inspiring to talk with her and witness the overhwelming support from her friends. Thank you Heather.

Thats it Thats All
My friend played this for me the other night. One of the best films I have ever seen. Shot completely in HD, the cinematography gives snowboarding what it deserves. A truly epic film.

SERF
I just took a recent trip to the Mentawais Islands off the coast of Sumatra. Words can't describe the trip. I was with about 10 other guys my age studying journalism. We were on the boat for 2 weeks, surfing, eating, drinking and having the time of our lives. I will never forget this trip. One of the best I will ever take.
